Understanding the size

What does “3-yard” mean?

The size name refers to nominal volume: 3 cubic yards equals 81 cubic feet. It is not the physical dimensions of the bin or a statement of its weight allowance.

Actual usable space depends on material shape and loading requirements. Ask for the bin dimensions and placement requirements when you request a quote.

  • Volume is not weightConcrete, soil, roofing and other dense materials need a separate discussion. Do not assume a volume estimate confirms an acceptable load.
  • Describe the materialList the main items you expect to load, including unusual or uncertain materials. Confirm acceptance and any separation requirements before booking.
  • Check placement and accessDescribe the delivery location and intended bin position. Ask about access, property permission and any placement requirements.
  • Confirm the termsAsk what the quote includes: rental period, delivery and pickup arrangements, disposal allowance and any extra charges.

Plan the rental around your project.

These are starting points for your inquiry, not automatic approval of every material or cleanup service.

Home and apartment cleanup

Tell us about the cleanout, renovation or move and the items you need to dispose of. Ask whether the 3-yard option fits the amount and material.

Renovation and contractor work

Have your material list, project location and preferred dates ready. Identify heavy debris separately so requirements can be discussed before delivery.

Property and business projects

Describe the site, project and access. Confirm rental arrangements rather than assuming recurring collection or a staffed cleanout.

Projects with uncertain materials

Call before arranging the rental if you’re unsure what can go in the bin. Confirm any special handling or excluded items as part of the quote.

Before delivery

A short checklist makes the call easier.

  1. 1. LocationYour city or ZIP, delivery address and proposed bin position.
  2. 2. Materials and amountA description of your debris and a rough volume estimate. Flag heavy or uncertain items.
  3. 3. Dates and accessPreferred delivery date, expected rental length and any access considerations.
  4. 4. Complete quoteConfirm the price, included allowance, loading limits, pickup arrangements and potential extra charges.

Rental questions

Confirm the details before you book.

What are the bin’s dimensions?

Ask H&S Disposal for the actual dimensions and placement requirements. The 3-yard size name describes nominal volume, not measurements you should use to plan site access.

What is the price and rental period?

Call or email for a quote for your location, dates and materials. Confirm rental length, delivery and pickup arrangements, included disposal allowance and any additional charges.

Can I load concrete, soil or roofing?

Describe these materials before booking. Acceptance, weight, separation and loading requirements must be confirmed; the bin size alone does not establish a safe or permitted load.

Do you deliver to my address?

Provide your city or ZIP and delivery address. Confirm coverage, site access and date availability directly with H&S Disposal before arranging delivery.

Does bin rental include a loading crew?

This page describes bin rental. If you need loading or other assistance, ask about that separately before booking rather than assuming it is included.

Does an email request reserve a bin?

No. Use your inquiry to discuss availability and receive the rental details. Confirm arrangements with H&S Disposal before treating the rental as booked.
